On the surface, it seems like a straightforward task—thwart an impending horde of menacing monsters, and voilà, mission accomplished. But alas, the universe revels in twisting fate. The planet he's been assigned to, unlike any other, teems with Qi-cultivating martial artists who aren’t keen on a helping hand from an outsider.

Prepare yourself for an enthralling expedition as the story unfolds, though, let's be real, when do things ever go according to plan? For P.R. Ramos and anyone else who plans to read this novel

An interesting twist to advanced civilization meeting something different. I liked it overall.

There were type-o's that were distracting and a number of formating issues with the periods but overall a fun read. The characters were nicely unique enough though I did struggle to envision what they looked like as the details of the character descriptions were light. Some people I guess like that as their imagination creates the details. Similarly I found it interesting how little details of the settings were described over time. I know some authors spend a lot of time describing the world in vivid details ... others not so much. Anyhow it did not detract for me as I always found the character dynamics the most interesting and fun parts.

Anyhow, good first book and I hope I can do as good of a job for my own first novels. Looking forward to the next book.

The Planetary Fixer . . .

Zaelen Skyreaver was preparing to leave Earth in less than 20 minutes. With Phase 3 completed here, he was taking on his last mission before retiring. The two models in his bed begged him to stay, but he had already ordered a chauffeur to take them wherever they wished since he had no time remaining here. Before he left, he gave his Bentley to the driver since it was James’ favorite vehicle. He listened to a final Earth song because he loved the Earth’s music, and then he joined his AI assistant to begin their journey to quell a horde of monsters. It had sounded easy, but it is anything but that and will take him into danger and intrigue! Join him here, at the beginning, and see if his final quest is resolved as he had imagined…

I'm looking forward to this series... With this first book, author P.R. Ramos has set up a fully realized world and culture and inhabited it with likable characters. While the narration and details that come out in the book are first-rate, the book is slightly let down by its dialogue, which at times can be too simplified and plot-leading. This would be a five-star book without the distractions the dialogue causes, as the story really is quite good.

Could have done with a bit more editing on the grammar, but overall a excellent read. Waiting with baited breath for book 2. P.S. keep up the good work, love your style.
