Plot
Marco, a young cynical lawyer, lives in Bari with his partner Martina and their 8-year-old son Mateo. Martina, a Latin American woman, moved to Italy after meeting Marco. The story begins when the relationship between Marco and Martina comes to an end. Martina wants to return to her native country with Mateo, but this decision would exclude Marco and he does not allow it. He is too attached to his son.

Vincenzo Marra is an Italian Director and screenwriter. As a young man he enrolled in law school and was involved in many civil affairs of Latin America. After having worked as a sports photographer in 1996 he moves to cinema and completes two short films, “La Vestizione” and “Una rosa prego”. With his film “Tornando a casa” he wins the award for best film at the International Critics Week at the Venetian Film Festival.
Trama
Marco è un cinico avvocato che vive con la compagna Martina e il figlio Mateo. Un giorno Martina scappa in Sudamerica con il figlio Mateo. Dopo un periodo di angoscia Marco decide di andare a cercarlo. Dopo una angosciosa ed inconcludente ricerca, Martina e Mateo sembrano essere svaniti nel nulla.

Vincenzo Marra è un regista e sceneggiatore italiano. Da giovane si è iscritto alla facoltà di giurisprudenza ed era molto impegnato nelle questioni civili dell’America Latina. Dopo aver lavorato come fotografo sportivo, nel 1996 passa al cinema e realizza due cortometraggi, “La Vestizione” e “Una rosa prego”. Con il suo film Tornando a casa vince il premio come miglior film alla Settimana Internazionale della Critica del festival di Venezia.
Résumé
Marco, un jeune avocat cynique, vit à Bari avec sa petite amie Martina et leur fils de huit ans, Mateo. Martina une Latino-Américaine, a déménagé en Italie après avoir rencontré Marco. L’histoire commence lorsque la relation entre Marco et Martina tire vers sa fin. Martina veut retourner vivre dans son pays avec Mateo, mais ce choix exclurait Marco. Il ne le permettra jamais, car il est trop attaché à son fils pour lequel il éprouve un amour infini.
