🤝 Following successful engagements in the Peloponnese region of Greece and Alentejo in Portugal, as part of our efforts within the Harnessing Talent Platform Secretariat and in collaboration with Prognos AG, this week we had the opportunity to discuss with the Region of Puglia and its stakeholders 🌊 to further optimise and strengthen their talent strategy #MareASinistra. These efforts align with our ongoing work across regions selected under pillar 1 of the Talent Booster Mechanism. 🚀💼🌍

When I'm traveling the world for business, I often get a question: why @Eceplast is located in Regione Puglia ? Today it was very nice to answer somehow the same question at the forum "succesful policy for the attractivness of the Apulia region" organized by the The European House-Ambrosetti on the mandate of the regional government lead by President Michele Emiliano and the assesor Alessandro Delli Noci . A part from the priviledge of being invited, I have particularly appreciated the quality of the debate and contributions to dialogue coming from preminent entreprenuers and managers of multinationals company based in #Apulia. here my takeaways of the day: 1. we are lucky to live and #work in one of the most beautiful region of the world (nr. 1 according to National Geographic report) 2. Our Region made big steps ahead in the last 30 years making good use of the EU funds for cohesion. 3. Good is not enough. The enormous job done by the regional development agency #Pugliasviluppo paid off and now is time to think further. 4. We, the #Entreprenuers, are the most powerful "ambassadors" within the business community. 5. There are still a lot of challanges to overcome (i.e. #logistics and #connectivity), but while we are working to fix it, we need to focus on our strenghts and keep growing our role of leading southern italian region. 6. Puglia is full of talents. Many of them are working faraway but this can also be seen as an #opportunity: we have a wide network. Also we want to be a territory that attracts foreign talents. 7. Diversity is reachness. Our vast territory proves it, instead of competing in between small local clusters, let's think broad and big. There is nothing worse than easily achieving small targets... So, a lot of work to do, but I'm eager to push more for the organic growth of Puglia! #pugliacompetitiva #development #growth #business

Is it that time of the year already??😯 In many ways, 2023 has been a transitional year for Payset. Our team is laying the foundation for the next growth stage so we can continue to provide our clients with the best platform and service. Revenues are growing 2.5X YoY, which is unprecedented in today’s market. 🚀 However, there is a responsibility that comes with that growth. We don’t take this responsibility to our clients lightly, and we’re proving it with a new platform and interface, increased global coverage, faster and smoother onboarding, state-of-the-art risk management and safeguarding of client funds, new banking partners that meet all our clients’ needs, optimized transaction execution for faster payments, and much more. In addition, we assembled a new account management team and equipped them with automation tools so they can continue to provide fast, personalized, and high-quality support to our growing client base. I believe there's a pressing issue here in Aotearoa that needs our attention. We're falling short when it comes to nurturing our own talent, across all industries. And sadly, we're losing them as a result. It's disheartening to see that it's only when they achieve international success that we proudly claim them as our own. But here's the question: Where was the support during their growth? We must acknowledge this gap and take action to bridge it. It's time to foster an environment where our homegrown talent thrives and flourishes. Let's invest in their development, provide mentorship and resources, and create opportunities for them to shine right here on our shores. By doing so, we not only retain our top talent, but we also elevate our entire nation's reputation. Together, let's build a supportive ecosystem that champions and celebrates our homegrown achievers at every stage of their journey. Together, we can create a vibrant and prosperous future for Aotearoa.
