The impact of humidity on Partial Discharges in e-motor windings is a challenging and not largely addressed topic. In this recent study the results of an experimentally intensive investigation on the subject are presented. The paper has been published in IET Science Measurement and Technology and is titled ‘Investigation on combined effect of humidity–temperature on partial discharge through dielectric performance evaluation’. Great to be finally back at WEMDCD after four years (and in the UK after 2.5Y)! Looking forward to presenting part of the work we are carrying out at PUNCH Torino on e-motors, and to catch-up with international experts on machines and drives.
Demonstrating our commitment towards a more sustainable mobility means research, study and also present the outcome of the job done. An example?
