FLINT, MI - Snoop Dogg dropped by a Christmas party at a local non-profit medical marijuana marketplace today before heading to Detroit to perform.
Snoop, along with former Detroit Red Wings player Darren McCarty, were scheduled to appear Wednesday, Dec. 21, at The Herbal Centre on Dort Highway.
Tickets for the event were advertised at $200 each, with a $20 discount available if people brought in toy donations valued at $10 or more, according to the market's social media accounts.
Owners from The Herbal Centre declined to comment on the event.

Snoop made his appearance hours before he was scheduled to perform in Detroit at the Masonic Temple tonight. The hip-hop artist also performed in Grand Rapids on Dec. 20 at the Van Andel Arena as part of The Puff Pass Tour Part 2. The concert lineup features Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Warren G, DJ Quik, Tha Dogg Pound, Pomona City Movement and LBC Movement.
He previously visited the city in June to host a charity basketball game following in response to the city's water crisis.
Bone Thugs previously made headlines in the area when member Stanley "Flesh-N-Bone" Howse teamed up in 2013 with Otisville-based medical marijuana operation The Green Oasis to cultivate and distribute a new strain of medical marijuana to Flint-area patients.
Both Snoop and McCarty have been vocal about their support for medical marijuana.
McCarty is scheduled to appear at an autograph signing on Dec. 28 at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center from 6:30 to 7 p.m. during a Flint Firebirds game at the center.
