Former Argentine international Carlos Tevez has been hospitalized due to experiencing chest pains. The 40-year-old, renowned for his stints with both Manchester United and Manchester City, sought medical assistance and spent the night at a clinic located in the upscale Buenos Aires neighborhood of San Isidro.

Tevez is currently the manager of Independiente, a prominent top-flight Argentinian soccer club. The club confirmed his hospitalization, stating that initial assessments have yielded satisfactory results. Tevez was scheduled for further medical examinations at a nearby hospital today.

Although the cause of Tevez's health issue has not been officially disclosed, local reports suggest a potential link to stress. Tevez has refrained from making any public statements regarding his condition.

Independiente initially denied reports of Tevez's hospitalization but later issued a statement confirming the incident. “Our coach, Carlos Tevez, went to the La Trinidad Hospital in San Isidro with chest pain.”

“They carried out the corresponding tests and they were satisfactory. Today he will continue with a series of tests scheduled in advance as part of a general check-up. Carlos Tevez will be hospitalised as a precaution until the corresponding tests are completed.”
