Paris Hilton says she’s in pain too immense to describe after the death of her 23-year-old Chihuahua, Harajuku Bitch.

“Today, my heart breaks as I say goodbye to my precious chihuahua, Harajuku Bitch,” the socialite wrote on Instagram on Monday, sharing photos of herself cuddling her beloved canine.

“For an incredible 23 years, she filled my life with so much love, loyalty, and unforgettable moments. She lived a long, beautiful and iconic life, surrounded by love until her final peaceful slumber. Words cannot express the immense pain I’m feeling right now. She was more than just a pet; she was family to me, a loyal friend who was always by my side through every twist and turn life brought my way.”

She went on: “From the glitz and glamour to the quiet moments behind the scenes, she was always there, a tiny ball of love, brightening up even the darkest of days. We shared so many memories, laughter, and tears. … Rest peacefully, my sweet darling. Thank you for blessing my life with your unconditional love.”

Hilton, 42, has mourned the loss of pets before. In 2015, she grieved on Instagram after the death of her Chihuahua Tinkerbell. “She was such a special [and] incredible soul,” Hilton wrote at the time. “We went through so much together. I can’t believe she’s gone. I will miss her [and] think about her for the rest of my life.”

And last September, her dog Diamond Baby went missing. “My family and friends have been helping me search high and low throughout my entire neighborhood and have gone door to door but we still haven’t found her,” Hilton told Instagram followers at the time. “We have hired a pet detective, a dog whisperer, a pet psychic and looking into dog finding drones now. I’m doing everything in my power to get her back.”

Hilton has had many dogs over the years, with her other pups named Peter Pan, Marilyn Monroe, Slivington, Princess Paris Jr., Prince Hilton, The Pom, Prince Baby Bear, Crypto Hilton, and Ether Reum, according to Hola! USA. In a 2017 tweet, the former “Simple Life” star said that her dogs live in a “two-story doggy mansion that has air conditioning, heating, designer furniture, and a chandelier.”
