Roman Gown, Roman Stola and Palla

The standard clothing of Roman women was less governed by law than the men. Many people think in the past people wore simply white clothes but now come to the realization that they included a wide range of bright colors. Usually women wore a stole, which has basically the form of a floor-length tunic, under which a further, similar-cut gown has been created, the so-called tunica. The palladium was used, a larger piece of material that was just like a coat or draped as a shawl over the body. Our combination of palladium and stole consists of a light, white sleeveless tunics and shawl in rich saffron, on the shoulder with a heavy, decorative stones occupied is closed with a brooch. The clear, rectangular cut palla with floral pattern complements the ensemble to a full Roman attire. Two strips of gold and saffron fit at the waist, the Roman stole and palla can also be used as an additional accessory. More information...
