Yes, Sakarun is a true paradise. The fine white sand and Caribbean turquoise blue colors are truly unique, and a visit is a highlight of any Croatia trip. The approximately 800-meter-long bay offers enough space for sun-seeking beach vacationers. Mediterranean-scented pine forests line the beautiful beach and provide cool shade, especially in midsummer. This sandy beach is especially popular with families with children. Since it slopes very gently, the little ones can splash around in the sea and play in the sand as they please. Although Sakarun is located on the open sea, it is protected by the long bay, so water temperatures are always pleasant.

Right on the beach there are no restaurants, but there are 2 charming little bars that offer coffee, cool drinks, ice cream and a few small dishes. Especially beautiful is the wooden terrace of the Amarcord Beach Bar, from where you have incredible views. In the preseason, the mood on the beach is really relaxed, and the atmosphere is unbeatable.
