The Ca 'dei Quattro Archi winery is a small family-run business located in Imola, in the province of Bologna. Born in 2000 at the behest of Rita Golinelli and Mauro Mazza, who, driven by the appeal of wine, decide to leave their respective professions and take over the old vineyards of Rita's father, located on the hills of Imola. The choice of Rita and Mauro is to lead the vineyards in a biological way and to make wines with an artisan and very traditional approach. The cultivated hectares are about 6 hectares, divided into two different parcels: one next to the company headquarters that rests on a ground composed of sand, while the second is located around the Casalfiumanese area, along the Rio Mescola, where the land is of clayey and rich in limestone. In the vineyard we find mainly traditional vines such as Albana, Malvasia, Trebbiano Romagnolo, Sangiovese, but also Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The work in the vineyard is very careful and rigorous, with no use of chemicals, but only respect for the cycles of nature. In the cellar, the interventions are not invasive, without pressing the grapes, all the grapes are macerated for a variable time depending on the type, fermentations take place spontaneously without pied de cuve and without temperature control, aging on the fine lees, and no filtration before bottling. The wines of Ca 'dei Quattro Archi are identity, and have the awareness of the terroir from which they come.

La cantina Ca’ dei Quattro Archi è una piccola realtà a conduzione familiare che si trova di Imola, in provincia di Bologna. 
Nasce nel 2000 per volonta’ di Rita Golinelli e Mauro Mazza, che spinti dal richiamo del vino, decidono di lasciare le rispettive professioni e prendere in gestione le vecchie vigne del padre di Rita, situate sulle colline di Imola.

La scelta di Rita e Mauro è quella di condurre le vigne in maniera biologica e di fare dei vini con un approccio artigianale e molto tradizionale. Gli ettari coltivati sono circa 6 ettari, suddivisi in due parcelle diverse: una accanto alla sede aziendale che poggia su un terreno composto da sabbia, mentre la seconda si trova attorno all’area di Casalfiumanese, costeggiando il Rio Mescola, dove il terreno è di natura argillosa e ricco di calcare.

In vigna troviamo soprattutto vitigni della tradizione come l’ Albana, la Malvasia, il Trebbiano Romagnolo, il Sangiovese, ma anche Cabernet Sauvignon e Merlot. Il lavoro in vigna è molto attento e rigoroso, senza nessun utilizzo di sostanze chimiche, ma solo rispetto per i cicli della natura.

In cantina gli interventi non sono invasivi, senza pressatura delle uve, tutte le uve vengono macerate per un tempo variabile a secondo della tipologia, le fermentazioni avvengono spontaneamente senza pied de cuve e senza controllo della temperatura, affinamento sulle fecce fini, e nessuna filtrazioni prima dell’imbottigliamento.
 I vini di Ca’ dei Quattro Archi sono identitari, e hanno la consapevolezza del terroir da cui provengono.
