Jennifer Love Hewitt Shows Her Kids’ Faces for First Time on Cover of Upcoming Memoir

Jennifer Love Hewitt was one of many celebrities who never showed their kids’ faces. But now, she’s introducing them to the world with a bang! Hewitt shares kids Autumn, 10, Atticus, 8, and Aidan, 2 with husband Brian Hallisay, and the three kiddos are joining her on the cover of her upcoming memoir.

In the wondrous cover photo, Hewitt holds a spellbook while Aidan raises a wand, Atticus pours a potion, and Autumn holds up some festive fare. It’s all very fitting for the book titled Inheriting Magic: My Journey Through Grief, Joy, Celebration, and Making Every Day Magical.

“It was the most stressful decision to show our kids or not show them,” Hewitt told E! News. “But my husband and I felt like we couldn’t really tell our story without knowing who they are and how they have made our lives so full and magical.”

As the title suggests, it’s about more than just grief, though. Hewitt tells the outlet that she reached a “greater place of healing” when writing Inheriting Magic and details joy and celebrations (since she’s a self-proclaimed “Holiday Junkie“), how to plan parties, some of her favorite family recipes, and a look at who she is off-screen.

“The real me. The mom me, and not just the public version which has been so much of my life.”
