The shades of blue merge luxuriantly, almost an invitation to dive into the hidden depths of the water. The bold and carefree use of Puliafico's spatula offers us a story of light and colour, which wears out quickly but leaves a trace of prolonged visual aftertastes.

« The artistic energy comes from the stomach, it is visceral, it cannot be controlled, it is she who says when the painting is finished. »
Antonino Puliafico is an Italian artist who has exhibited nationally. His artistic expression is influenced by both the fauvist movement and the impressionists. Puliafico describes his creative process as "painting quickly to be consumed quickly", yet leaving a prolonged visual aftertaste that amalgamates and changes every time the composition is observed. He creates using oils and acrylics applied with spatulas and brushes.
