TATAK Gel Biñan clinched a seat in the semifinal round after beating Camsur Express, 106-104, in the 2023 National Basketball League-Pilipinas President’s cup at the Hoopla Gym in Muntinlupa City.

Biñan led by as many as 22 points, and survived a late comeback bid by Camsur to rise its record to 5-4 win-loss, enough for the team to secure the final semifinal berth in Group B.
Alexander Villacorta had 26 points, while Vinny Begaso chipped in 18 points for Tatak Gel Biñan, which will face the top seed team in Group A.
Camsur fell to 5-4 but is already assured of a semifinal spot in Group A even with the defeat.
DF Bulacan Stars leaned on Exeqiel Biteng to defeat Muntinlupa, 94-71, to keep their hopes alive of a semifinal berth.
Biteng had 27 points on an efficient 12-of-15 shooting from the field for the Stars to close the eliminations with a 4-5 win-loss record.
Bulacan remains in contention for a semifinal berth but its fortunes will rely heavily on the results of the last two games of Luid Kapampangan.
Luid, sitting at second place with a 4-3 win-loss record, will face Taguig Generals on Friday at the Jun Duenas Gym in Taguig, and Muntinlupa on Sunday at the Colegio de Sebastian in San Fernando, Pampanga.
