Nespresso Ispirazione and Barista Creations 2020

There had been some restructuring to the groupings of the Nespresso capsules. Earlier this year, they introduced the Ispirazione Italiana range grouping coffee inspired by different regions of Italy into this series. Two new flavours added: Ispirazione Napoli and Ispirazione Venezia. To which, the latter capsule might not be entirely new as it was earlier introduced in 2019 known as Caffe Venezia. I tried the Ispirazione Napoli but found it too bitter for me. I prefer my old time favourite of Kazaar which is now Ispirazione Palermo Kazaar.

Another favourite of mine – Arpeggio is now Ispirazione Firenze Arpeggio.

Shortly after the regrouping of the capsule ranges, Nespresso introduced 3 new flavoured coffee into the Barista series which was first introduced in 2017 (post). The 6 capsules collectively now forms the Barista Creations.

My favourite within this range got to be the chocolatey Cocoa Truffle. A distinct cocoa note with a touch of almond sweetness and a hint of vanilla.
