Description

Lo-Grow Sumac (Rhus aromatica) is a short, wide spreading, low growing cultivar of Fragrant Sumac.

MaintenanceThis can be sheared down low, every year to every other year to keep it compact. By pruning back hard the central leader, the plant can be kept less than a foot.

Author's NotesI have used this shrub in very difficult sites and has proven worthy to the task. An extremely good shrub for stabilizing eroded areas. If there is any problem with the plant it takes a few years to fill in and isn't a very attractive plant in the pot. there are 2-3 roundabout I drive through that have this shrub mass planted in the center and they thrive.
