Green rooibos is not a green tea, it comes from the African bush Aspalathus linearis exclusively from South Africa.
It is especially known for its unique combination active ingredients with many health benefits.
Green rooibos undergoes a heating process that stops oxidation that makes tea dark and changes chemical structure.
Green Rooibos comes from the same plant as Red Rooibos. But it differs because it has not been fermented at all.
Green Rooibos is usually one of rare teas suitable for infants and children because is completely caffeine free.

Green Rooibos Properties:

  • Does not contain additives, preservatives or dyes.
  •  It is a natural decaffeinated decoction.
  •  The soothing effect that Rooibos seems to have a positive effect on the central
    nervous system and can be effective in combating insomnia.
  •  It has a high content of antioxidants and polyphenols.
  • Its antioxidants are also different from those found in green and black tea.
