Vervain (Verbena officinalis) growing in the bed devoted to plants used in medieval magic in Bonnefont garden. Occasionally cultivated as an ornamental plant or grown for its herbal properties, Verbena officinalis was introduced here by the early settlers and is now widely naturalized in North America.
