Main indications

The TM prepared from the whole flowering plant contains a sterol in the phytocomplex, the stigmasterol also present in other ocular tropic plants (Euphatorium and Physostigma) and other active ingredients that cause inflammation especially on the ocular and nasal mucous membranes with inflammation and edema of the eyelids, secretion clear, abundant and irritating lacrimal conjunctiva and cornea, a clear, non-irritating nasal discharge, tendency to blink. It is therefore indicated in pollen allergies and viroses that occur with conjunctival irritation or inflammation of any origin: allergic or infectious conjunctivitis, hay fever, spasmodic coryza, virosis, first stage of Measles.

Psychological characteristics of the patient

Bursting headache. Sleepy during the day, yawns while walking.

Symptoms and methods of reaction

Acre tearing, light coryza. Ocular burning with sensation that grains of sand irritate the conjunctiva. Symptoms worsen in the evening, with sunlight, heat, air, and wind. They get better in the dark and with coffee.

Dosage

Prescribe 3 granules at 5 CH from twice daily to once every hour based on the severity of symptoms. In chronic forms at 15 CH three granules a day in the month preceding pollination.
