A variety from the Burgundy region, perfect for beginners in the world of viticulture, as it opens the doors to the international wine market.
The grape has a very early budding, thick but soft skin and juicy flesh, yellowish-white and spherical. It grows in small, compact bunches.
Its wines are powerful and fruity although quite acidic. The ageing in barrels and the malolactic fermentation are its most interesting points.
