This is a very nice looking Lophophora williamsii, 12cm across. His age is unknown, but, I would put him around 14 to 18 years old.

  • Length: 9cm across.
  • Locality: Northern form (self-fertile).
  • Producing flowers/seeds this year.
  • Grown from seed.
  • Sent bare root.
  • Fresh substrate will supplied

Please take note of the previous mite damage he has nearly grown out of, I have taken snaps from all angles so that you can see. He is fully rid of mites, he just needs to grow out a bit to fully rid himself of any damage marks.

Lophophora Care

  • Substrate: Very gritty mix with little to no organic material (fertilise with each feed)
  • Watering: Spring to Autumn (April to September), infrequently. They can handle a lot of moisture but if things go south, they go south quickly. Best to abuse over baby them.
  • Light: Natural or artificial (while young), South facing window or greenhouse.
