Cornflower attracts pollinators such as honeybees, bumble bees, butterflies and beneficial insects such as hoverflies, lacewings, ladybugs and parasitic wasps. An attractive annual with edible flowers that continue to bloom all Summer. Deadheading spent flowers will prolong blooming. Flowers have a clove like flavour and are slightly sweet and spicy. Petals make a nice garnish for salads, lemonade or cocktails. Dried petals can be infused in teas. Seeds are open pollinated and untreated. Certified organic by EcoCert Canada.
