#AI is everywhere so it should come as no surprise that the US military is using #artificialintelligence . DeepLearning.ai states that the US military has 800 AI projects currently in development. One of those projects is named #Maven and it was recently used in the Middle East to identify targets in Yemen and the Red Sea. Unfortunately the accuracy of Maven seems to be around 60% which is less than human analysts which were accurate about 84% of the time. What do you all think? Should we require a human in the loop to make decisions about when to shoot missiles? Should we even be using AI in war?

You have likely heard of #hallucinations in LLM responses already. Besides providing the wrong information and making you look a bit silly, it doesn't seem like a huge problem except when it comes to generated code. If you haven't heard of hallucinated software packages, it is a new emerging #threat vector that you should be aware of. Essentially AI users that are generating code are introduced to code that requires a package that doesn't exist. But the problem is that bad actors then take these "fake" packages, create them, make them available for use, and you may install #malware that could lead to problems. I had absolutely no idea that McDonald's had gotten so #expensive . This article is a fascinating glimpse at the pricing #strategy of a huge organization. I wonder if they are utilizing #artificialintelligence to enhance their EBITDA. Something to note is that large orgs that use AI-driven pricing decisions can increase their revenue by a larger extent than those orgs that choose to apply AI to a different focus. https://lnkd.in/eFrkyDpz
