The government should increase the stipend for ICSSR project works and most importantly the doctoral (20,000) & postdoc (31,000) stipends. It ‘s been years it has not be renewed whereas the UGC’s stipend has been revised multiple times and is currently giving 37,000 to JRF; 42,000 to SRF; 50,000 for postdoc.
