Lime (Citrus aurantifolia) Organic Distilled Essential Oil

This lovely organic essential oil is distilled in Sri Lanka, a beautiful county I have actually visited!  This oil is cold pressed and so it is not phototoxic the way Lemon oil is.  We use Lime oil in many of our lip balms and in our blends, as it is so refreshing and mixes so well with other oils.  Lime oil is uplifting, antiviral, and discourages bacteria growth.  It helps to combat feelings of depression, anxiety and fear, and has energizing properties.  Lime oil is astringent, and is used in the treatment of oily skin.
