A vigorous ornamental apple tree with a rounded to umbellate crown and slightly pendulous branches. Height approx. 6 m. The oval leaves are dark green, 4 - 8 cm in size and sometimes slightly lobed at the base. The tree produces abundant light pink flowers that turn white and have a diameter of approx. 0.4 cm. When in bud they are dark pink. The masses of yellow fruit, later with a red blush, remain hanging in the tree for a long time and have a diameter of approx. 0.9 cm. Can be used in large gardens, parks and public gardens. The tree makes heavy demands on the soil as regards moisture supply and fertility. Fairly insensitive to scab but sensitive to mildew.
