Bulb producing a single tree-like leaf in summer with a beautifully marbled stem. Flower is huge, 60cm high, and purple. Ignore over winter when the whole plant dies down to the tuber. Grows fine in the garden in mild areas.

3.Indoors OK, Outdoors OK in warm, well-drained position in mild areas.

The flower comes in spring before the leaves.

Leaves are connected like cheap plastic foliage.
