Gears of War 2: Game of the Year Edition Announced

In case you've missed out on Epic's excellent Gears of War 2 for the Xbox 360, Microsoft is prepping to spit out a new Game of the Year Edition in North America on September 1st.

The new revision contains the original game plus the recently released All Fronts Collection DLC.

This offering ships with Game of the Year "Gears of War 2" plus the comprehensive "Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection" Game Add-on, which includes all 19 extra multiplayer maps, the "Road to Ruin" campaign chapter and every Achievement to date worth a total of 1750 Gamerscore. "Gears of War 2: Game of the Year Edition" will be offered at the estimated retail price of $39.99 (U.S.).

But if for whatever reason you need another, or if you've not yet played it, $40 for all this awesome content is far too good to pass up.
