Robert Bauman (Wisconsin)
Robert Bauman is a member of the Milwaukee Common Council in Wisconsin, representing District 4. He assumed office in 2004. His current term ends in 2028.
Bauman ran for re-election to the Milwaukee Common Council to represent District 4 in Wisconsin. He won in the general election on April 2, 2024.
Biography
Bauman is from Chicago, Ill. He received a bachelor's degree from Marquette University in 1974 and a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 1977. His professional experience includes working as an attorney, starting a company that rebuilt and remanufactured railroad passenger cars and transit equipment, and being a consultant to the transportation industry. He has been involved in the following organizations:
- Chair, Southeast Wisconsin New Transportation Alliance
- Member, Technical Advisory Committee of the East-West Corridor Study
- Member, Advisory Committee of the Downtown Transit Connector Study
- Commissioner, Milwaukee Transportation Commission[1]

The city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, held elections for mayor and city council on April 5, 2016. A primary election took place on February 16, 2016. All 15 city council seats were up for election. Incumbent Robert Bauman defeated Monique Kelly in the Milwaukee City Council District 4 general election.[2]
