Force Strength

Valenthyne Farfalla was one of the seven greatest Jedi Lords.

Each Jedi Lord was descended from a long line of Jedi Lords who had devoted their lives to protecting regions of space from Sith Warlords. And such a title seemingly transcended the title of Jedi Master, as each Jedi Lord attracted and commanded several other Jedi.

Force Barrier

While augmented by battle meditation, Farfalla was capable of throwing a force barrier around one of his allies to reduce a telekinetic strike from an Orbalisk encrusted Darth Bane that would've crushed and flattened her against a wall to something she could twist through the air and land back on her feet from.

Raskta was already back on her feet and flying through the air toward him. Bane spun and threw a wave of invisible dark side power at her. A Weapons Master was not skilled at defending against enemy Force attacks. The impact of the wave would have plastered her against the wall and crushed her had Farfalla not thrown up a shield to protect the Echani. Even so her muscular body was plucked from the air and hurtled backward, though she twisted and turned so she landed on her feet.

Darth Bane: Rule of Two

Valenthyne Farfalla seems to have faith in his ability to repel Sith lightning with Force barriers, though this failed against lightning as powerful as Darth Bane's.

Bane unleashed a barrage of Sith lightning, gathering and releasing his power at the speed of thought. The Jedi threw up a Force barrier to shield himself, but the electricity tore right through it and arced toward him.

Stasis Field

While augmented by battle meditation, Farfalla was capable of freezing a charging orbalisk encrusted Darth Bane in a stasis field, though only for a second.

Bane continued his retreat, circling away from Raskta's blades, then suddenly turned and ran straight toward the unarmed Ithorian standing just inside the door of the room.

Battle meditation required Master Worror's complete focus; there was no chance for him to mount any type of defense. If Bane cut him down, the others would lose the only advantage that gave them any chance of surviving the encounter.

Farfalla released the power he'd been gathering in a single concentrated burst. Bane was suddenly encased in a shimmering stasis field of light-side energy, freezing him where he stood. But his command of the dark side was too powerful for it to hold him for more than a split second.

Telekinesis

Farfalla is capable of calling his lightsaber back into his hand.

Knowing that her lightsabers couldn't penetrate Bane's armor, she slid in from behind and scissor-kicked his legs out from under him. He toppled over backward, turning his fall into a roll that ended with him back on his feet. However, the distraction allowed Farfalla to look over and reach out with the Force, calling his weapon back into his hand.

Martial Skill

Farfalla was one of the great champions of the Army of the Light

Valenthyne Farfalla achieved such a victory on Kashyyyk, several tribal leaders on Kashyyyk gifted him a bed with a frame made from a wroshyr tree, and such a victory was among the most important moments in Farfalla's life.

On the far side of the room was an enormous four-poster bed, the frame fashioned from the timber of a wroshyr tree-a gift from Wookiee tribal leaders on Kashyyyk. The covers and pillows were woven from shimmering silks of yellow and red, and each of the massive bedposts was emblazoned with a hand-painted mural depicting a major event from Farfalla's life: his royal birth, his acceptance into the Jedi Order, his ascension to the rank of Master, his famous triumph over the Sith forces on Kashyyyk.

Farfalla had fought in nearly every confrontation on Ruusan, earning a reputation among the Sith.

Lord Valenthyne Farfalla had been one of the first Jedi Masters to join the Army of Light on Ruusan. He had fought in nearly every confrontation, and the Sith had come to know him well.

Darth Bane: Path of Destruction

Farfalla's skill in battle was such that Pernicar was unsure of the Jedi could hold off the Sith without him.

As soon as he was out of earshot, Pernicar spoke again. "Is that wise, my lord? Our numbers are already thin. How long do you think we can survive without him?"

Farfalla's skill was such that he commanded one of the largest companies of Force sensitive warriors in galactic history.

Farfalla's skills in battle were enough to earn the respect and admiration of Hoth's men, despite their initial extreme distaste for him.

Like many of Hoth's followers, he had initially regarded Lord Valenthyne as nothing but a prancing fool concerned only with brightly colored shimmersilk shirts, the long flowing curls of his golden hair, and the other trappings of garish and gaudy fashion. Yet in battle after battle against the Brotherhood of Darkness, Farfalla and his followers had proved their worth. Slowly, almost grudgingly, Johun and the rest of Hoth's troops had come to admire and even respect the man they once had scoffed at.

Kiel Charny states that Farfalla is one of the truest Jedi he has ever known, but he would not want to incur Farfalla's wrath.

Farfalla defeated a wounded Kopecz in lightsaber combat.

Lord Kopecz fought valiantly despite his wounds, though he was no match for a fresh and uninjured Jedi Master. In the end, Farfalla fulfilled his promise.

Darth Bane: Path of Destruction

While augmented by battle meditation, Farfalla was able to process information and alter the course of his blade in a fraction of a second.

The warning caused Farfalla to notice the hook-handled light-saber of his enemy, and the unusual grip it required. This would alter the nature of his attacks, causing them to come in from odd and unfamiliar angles. In the regimented and hyperprecise world of Jedi-Sith lightsaber duels, it transformed his style into something unique and unexpected.

Valenthyne recognized, processed, and reacted to this information in a fraction of a second, allowing him to adjust his own weapon's course just enough to block a strike that otherwise would have slipped along the edge of his blade and taken his arm off at the elbow.

Farfalla's blows were clean and elegant and his form perfect.

On her opposite side Farfalla struck with clean, elegant blows, his form perfect as he harried Bane's right flank.

Willpower

Farfalla had the strength of will to maintain his composure amid the tortured screams of the Jedi and Sith reverberating through his head, as well as the knowledge of the suffering the spirits of the Jedi would be put through.

On the surface many kilometers away, Farfalla and the other Jedi felt the ground shake, and they knew their general was no more. A moment later their minds erupted with the tortured screams of the Jedi and Sith caught up in the blast, their life-force ripped away and sucked into the vacuum at the heart of the blast.

Many of the Jedi wept in anguish, understanding how great the sacrifice of their fallen comrades had been. The spirits of the dead were bound for all eternity, forever frozen in stasis.

Master Valenthyne Farfalla, now the leader of what remained of the Army of Light, felt the sorrow as deeply as any of them. But this was not the time for grief. With General Hoth's passing, the burden of command was his to bear, and there were things that still needed to be done.
