Usually, I had issues with wrong backgrounds and covers size caused by incorrect platform.ini/magic numbers, or by out of memory errors (when I was using non optimized png's for my theme and covers).
I remember one time I accidentally left two magic numbers in one of my source_menu.ini button, they were for plugins with different cover size, and it ended displaying everything with the standard DVD case format used for Wii games.

I even had a recent issue with SD card corruption, or so I believe.
In my case it was a serious series of issues (not even Saitama could do more damage). Everytime I launched the WiiXL emulator in Wiiflow, it resulted in a black screen. I had to manually reboot the console keeping the power button pressed. On reboot, it completely wiped up the ENTIRE apps folder on the SD. I copied back the folder from my pc, then tried again, the next time it deleted the entire apps AND Wiflow folders from the SD root! This happened only with WiiXL, everything else was working good.
I then used a brand new SD card, with an exact copy of all the files.
WiiXL was perfectly working, and so everything else, so I can only think about file corruption

I think that's what I'm going to do If I run into any issues, either get another SD Card or switch to USB completetly. Any issues switching everything to USB? I'm sure you said @RunningSnakes that WiiSXRX doesn't like USB is that all? You can use any size SD card right? as long as its formatted to Fat32, I use a 128gb Sandisk formatted with EaseUS Partition Manager yet I have ran into a corruption in the past, but I think that was to me not being careful shutting the system down and taking the SD out with WiiFlow still on like a noob

I used to run everything from USB and i know @matto21 and @Okko only use USB exclusively. For me, after i switched to and got used to SD/USB combo, i really do prefer it now. Yes there are several plugins that will only play through SD. If you take a look at the WiiFlow Plugins text included in the plugins pack, i have included what the entire pack contains (versions, dates, magic numbers and other useful info). Here you will see which plugins are SD only and there are a couple that require USB.

I am not positive the SD size limit, if there is one, my 128gb has been as good as anything i have used. Yes FAT32 is what i have always done, and use GoodGUI to format. With the 128gb SD, i used 64 cluster and have had no issues.

I'm sure you said @RunningSnakes that WiiSXRX doesn't like USB is that all?

uhmmm.. no? Are you sure? I'm actually using it from USB and it works.
I also prefer to use the SD / USB combo. SD for apps, wiiflow, configuration, etc... USB for game data whenever it's possible (some games like mame2003+ ones are performing a little better if roms are on SD),
This keeps the SD smaller and easier to backup, if it gets corrupted.
With a USB only setup, if the drive gets corrupted you loose everything and you will have a harder time restoring the backup. Also they cost more than SD's (don't use pen drives).
Not sure about the card size, however I use a 32Gb card, but it's half empty, I could use a 16Gb one as well.

Previous versions of WIISXRX 2022 were only SD compatible. USB is now supported in the latest version. @matto21 confirmed this last night, @Tetsuo Shima has confirmed, and i also confirm.

WFL support was broken as of version 3.0. Version 2.7 runs fine, so i will make the necessary change in the pack.

WiiStation (2022) latest release is working well but the counter does not boot.

I will be also removing WIISXR as it serves no purpose any longer.

WiiStation you say how are you finding it? I haven't heard of this emulator

Yes, correct. WiiStation replaces WiiSX_RX_2022.

I finally back on Wiiflow adding Atari generation emulaor got 2600 and 7800 running ans Im having hard time to cnfig on Atari 5200 it keeps telling me that extent .a52 can not run on WiiXL. Can someone guide me how to set up the config on WiiXL and i have BIOS are 5200.rom that what github require.

what folder are the roms in?

if you use wiiflow the roms must be inserted
wiixl/software/5200 folder
not in the apps/wiixl/software/5200 folder

Yes the roms are in sd/wiixl/software/ and can not still run the game from the direction address
