L'OREAL PRESENTA - UNA NUOVA DIMENSIONE - COLONNA SONORA ORIGINALE da LUCI SUONI COLORI - ITALIAN LIBRARY OST Lp Music by JOSE VILLAMOR aka I RAGAZZI DEL SOLE / ARMANDO TROVAJOLI / STELVIO CIPRIANI etc. Original Italian pressing on the COMPAGNIA ITALIANA DEL SUONO label (T/S 71158), from circa 1969. Desirable product placement / conceptual soundtrack Library for L'Oreal created for an advertising campaign / fashion show or design exhibition. Outstanding bossa / psychedelic funk and prog electronic mood-music. The title track LA NUOVA DIMENSIONE is rumoured to be a Richard Coley / Richard Last Group funky prog cover version of the infamous Jethro Tull anthem but treated in a studio with sinister electronics a la Delia Derbyshire - Radiophonic Workshop - Unit Delta Plus / tape manipulation and spoken word narration intro. VOOM VOOM credited to Jose Villamor is actually a super-obscure I Ragazzi Del Sole theme and superb example of psychedelic funk featuring phased instrumentation / fuzz distortions / flute and hammond organ. Shaker driven bossa with male vocal chorus / cinematic FX and spoken word on ANGOLA ADEUS that was never released on Trovajoli's Riusciranno I Nostri Eroi... RCA KOLS 1005 soundtrack. CAPELLI AL VENTO by hip arranger Happy Ruggiero is also very sophisticated with a particular, giallo thriller ambience. Dreamy Berto Pisano Interrabang style sound with lots of glistening 'treated' electric piano motifs / groovy hammond / flute and jazzy instrumentation. Long themes so we've edited things down for the soundclip. Great for DJs. Outstanding sleeve artwork. Rare Lp!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition with a few light scuffs and hairlines. Light surface noises but all copies seem to have this. Some moisture / dirt stains to labels. The laminated pop art / psychedelic sleeve is in strong VG++ condition with minimal light wear. A few laminate crease lines from storage. Some moisture / dirt stains to back sleeve. Camera flash glare to sleeve photo images. Rare Lp!!!
