The enormous potential of new gene editing technologies for breakthroughs in research, drug development, and new therapies is critically dependent upon the complex technology of cell culture. In virtually all cell culture labs, the planning, tracking and reporting of culture experiments is currently done entirely on paper, creating major challenges with scientist productivity and efficiency. Cellara's CultureTrax software-as-a-service (SaaS) product enables cell culture scientists to plan complex experiments, find critical information, cells & materials, track & report results and share data with collaborators. The product is currently beginning beta testing, with an initial commercial launch planned for Q1 2016.
