Dhanush teams up with Karnan director Mari Selvaraj again: ‘A prestigious project which is special for so many reasons’

Dhanush and Mari Selvaraj’s first collaboration Karnan received rave reviews upon its release in 2021. A parts of Indianexpress.com’s review read, “Dhanush leaves behind his stardom and has embraced the unglamorous features of his character with a lot of conviction. He has delivered a realized performance as an angry young man, who can no longer sacrifice his self-respect simply to stay alive.
