In Dark Delusion, you play as Reina, a girl who has been kidnapped with her family and taken by ship to a distant kingdom and can be used for nasty purposes. After escaping, she must try to survive while helping the people who helped her. Her pursuers are interested in a mysterious gem brooch she possesses, which gives her the power to control traps (pendulums, bombs, claws, arrows and other deadly traps).
This is the third game in the Deception series. You control the character in a 3D environment where you place traps to kill your pursuers (who have weapons). It's a real-time game with elements of strategy and role-playing, which lets you use a timing and skill system to activate traps across the rooms of a medieval castle as opponents are trying to kill you. As you activate traps, you can link them to activate each other, increasing the number of combos.
