This easy to grow, large, stunning cross of Dyckia platyphylla x ‘Carlsbad‘ has many spiny arching leaves in a rosette to well over 18 inches. One of the most colorful of Dyckia hybrids, it has reddish/brown leaves in full sun or a deep burgundy color in lower light. They will produce a long flower spike with dozens of small yellow flowers followed by seed pods in the spring/summer.

Water: Does not require more than once a week but can also survive the Florida rainy season once established.
Native: Brazil
This Plant will be shipped bare root. Please pot it up in a very well draining cactus soil mix or pick up a bag of our Custom Cactus Mix

If temperatures near you are below 45℉ we highly recommend adding a Heat Pack to your order. If temperatures where you live will be much lower than 20℉ even heat packs may not work. You may consider waiting until things warm up a bit. We know you love your plants just like we do and we wouldn't want any of them to freeze.
