DreamWorks Animation in partnership with Palo Alto-based start-up Plumzi has released VeggieTales Appisode: 3 Builders, a new appisode for iOS devices based on the popular VeggieTales TV episode “The Little House that Stood.”
The US$4.99 interactive appisode is now available on the Apple App Store and features popular VeggieTales characters Bob, Larry and Mr. Lunt. 3 Builders reinforces child development, learning and active participation through voice, tap and tilt controls. Parents can also monitor their child’s progress in all of the activities via the app.
VeggieTales, which is produced by faith-based studio Big Idea Entertainment (a division of DreamWorks Animation), has to date sold 70 million videos, 15 million books and more than 7 million CDs since 1993. Four top-rated TV seasons have also been produced.
