Hello! My research is primarily focused on social movements, and the quality of democracy. I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Simon Fraser University. My award-winning doctoral work focuses on how organizers capacity to create inclusive protests is influenced by the built and lived environment of the city, and the effects protests have on local politics. Beyond my dissertation, I am involved in an interdisciplinary team focused on studying inclusive solidarity within social movements and have worked under S. Laurel Weldon on a Gates Foundation funded project addressing the role of national and transnational women’s organizing in promoting women’s economic empowerment.

If you are interested in reading any of my working papers, syllabi, and/or chapters listed on my CV please contact me, I am happy to share!

When I’m not working, I am likely hanging out with my very dumb cat (Islay), playing an incredibly complicated board game or DnD with way too many librarians, or riding one of my bicycles (Kropotkin and Rosa).
