This is a great local spot to go to. Not too many tables, but there are a few indoors and outdoors. We ordered a few plates to share amongst the table: the fried bread appetizer (apologies, I forgot the name), eggplant parm, ragu, Mozzarella, grilled veggies, etc. All were fantastic! Our server was extremely awesome.

Stumbled upon this place when visiting an obscure neighborhood store--seemed like a local favorite. Food was exceptional, better than a couple of the more renowned, much pricier restaurants near the Duomo/fashion district. Staff was friendly.

It was delicious and fair priced. The staff was very kind, though they spoke zero English, it didn't matter. If you want to experience what locals actually do and get away from the tourist scene, I highly recommend this place. It is quaint and comfortable. The eggplant Parmesan and fresh tomato and mozzarella were divine!

small local shop that not many tourists know about (like the people there don't even know english) but AMAZING FOOD. cute hand drawn menus and cozy atmosphere. their parmigiane di zia is a vegetarian parmesan roast that took me by surprise: not too light, not too heavy, very tasty and would satisfy your vegetarian cravings really well.

"Bello e buono" appunto!!
