The owner is absolutely amazing and helpful. He makes great recommendations and is extremely knowledgeable.
The espresso is smooth and tasty! The sparkling waters are refreshing. There's a variety of gelatos and creative flavors.
We will definitely be returning often!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Carlota ..San Francisco, CA146Apr 2, 2024
Slightly pricey but cozy dessert and coffee shop.
We came here after dinner to get some dessert. We decided to go for a wild strawberry ricotta cake. Without the price being shown anywhere, I was stunned when they charged me over $12 for such a tiny piece of cake. Nonetheless, the cake was very good.
Staff was friendly and served us very quickly. However, the indoor table where we sat wasn't cleaned after the previous customers left.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dorothy L.Zionsville, IN152723Apr 1, 2024
Legit!
We've been to Italy less than a year ago so still remember how amazing genuine gelato is. Sadly this place was all out of pistachio flavored gelato but the hazelnut we got was OMG! Most creamy, amazing gelato I've ever had!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael C.Irvine, CA6268434Mar 23, 2024
Came here after having dinner and wanted to end on a sweet note because that's just the fat mother fucker we are. Gosh darn this cannoli was so good and the filling was refreshing surprisingly!

Not sure about the hype of the review. 3.5 stars for me, service was 4 start which brought it up from 3 start to 3.5.
Quite an assuming entrance for this little cafe where they sell cookies, gelato and Italian desserts like tiramisu and cannolis.
The staff recommended me a chocolate covered cannolis and said they are famous because they fill the cannolis fresh. You only see the shells from the shelf. The shell for me seemed thick but the filling inside is light despite the crystal and thick look of it. But this is not worth a $7 charge.
Service is friendly and nice. The drink menu is not that special though.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 1724522185Sep 7, 2023
Was happy to find a gelato place open late! Our drive was far so it was nice to get a treat after a long drive.
The lady was nice and we chose fruity flavors- peach and cherry. Both were food and texture was more creamy than frozen.
Inside is small but we decided to eat and walk around because the city is so charming!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Alexis M.San Francisco, CA53448Jan 22, 2024
A cozy dessert shop in Carmel! Stumbled on this shop when walking along Ocean Ave. In my opinion, this place is a little pricey, I paid $6.75 for 1 cannoli. Worker was friendly and the cannoli was good but not sure if it was worth the price.
I ordered:

Was really looking for an after dinner treat and cafe dal mare enticed me with their cannolis.
Ordered a cafe au lait and an americano. Both were $4. Fair price for coffee.
As for treats we decided on a plain cannoli and a really beautiful chocolate mousse dessert. The cannoli was $6.75 and the chocolate was $12.50. When I saw the total of $27.25 I was shocked! The menu on display only lists prices for the drinks so there was so transparency for the cost of the sweets. Overall, I really really loved the cannoli and the chocolate was okay, but certainly not worth $12.50.
The service was friendly and quick.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - 3019192Feb 23, 2024
Stopped in for a coffee on a semi-rainy afternoon. It was the middle of the day on a holiday and there were just a few people in the shop. It's a long and narrow establishment that can't hold a lot of people but there are a few places inside to sit down. Ordering was straightforward and I got my drinks pretty quickly. The folks behind the counter weren't the most warm, but overall it was a decent experience. I had a cafe mocha which could have been a few degrees warmer and my companion had a matcha latte. Drinks were a bit pricey at $6.00 each but I guess that's what it costs nowadays! They had a selection of baked goods which looked good fairly good but unfortunately my diet prohibits white flour carbs. I think I'd visit again.
