Q:
How many persons would one pizza serve?
A:
I would say one if you are hungry (they are thin and not that big). Two people per pizza if you get an appetizer.

This is a Beautiful place in downtown Brownsville, the service was utterly fantastic wonderful!! The food is OH MY GOSH PHENOMENAL!!!! My family and I were so happy with the whole experience here and we plan on coming back!!
The staff were so nice they opened the front doors for you as you come in and as you leave. We were also very surprised that for all the food we ordered when we paired it wasn't super expensive at all. Under $60.00 we were not expecting that.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Christian B.Harlingen, TX51347Mar 8, 2024
I have been coming to dodici for a couple of years now and I adamantly state it is by far my favorite pizza place to go to in the valley. A multitude of reasons makes me place dodici at the top of my list.
1) the food! From the appetizers, cheesecake and especially the pizza. The pizza is one of a kind with unique ingredients, textures and combinations. I have never left disappointed
2) the service. This place by far is the fastest service in the valley. I order and next thing I know the food is already arrive.
3) the ambiance of the restaurant. It is clean, neat, artistic and modern.
I always look forward to coming back!Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 2Oh no 0 - Mar 2, 2024
My forever go-to pizza place in the RGV.
*The pizza - my favorites include the classic margherita, sweet sting (has a nice kick!), and the scampi. Lots of variety in flavors in their menu and they are always open to accommodations. Because of the thin crust I never feel too full or bloated after a couple slices. It's one of the few pizzas where the crust is just as delicious as the pizza toppings so I can devour the whole thing.
*Other food - their cheesecake (I believe from a local business called Stephanie's Cheesecakes) is the best I've ever had! It's a running joke amongst my friends where we compare the cheesecake to other restaurants and the ones at Dodici beats them every time lol. Their charcuterie and spinach artichoke dip are delicious too.
*Ambiance - the back patio area is stunning with so much lush vegetation, you can even see some fruit growing on the trees! At night it transforms into a cozy and charming area where you don't feel like you're in Texas anymore.
*Service - one of the fastest service I've ever experienced! The pizzas come out so quickly within 10-15 mins after we order. They're all very friendly and attentive to what we need.
*Pricing - the prices are beyond reasonable for the quality and service you experience here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chilidsh P.Pasadena, TX01314Apr 5, 2024
Both the pizza and the cannoli tasted great! The atmosphere was good too, and service was good friendly and followed up with us periodically. Would recommend!

Located in my work backyard, Dodici is the real deal. I always enjoy going to this authentic Neopolitan style pizza and other delicious dishes establishment. Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Brownsville you're treated to a unique experience.

Ambiance is always nice; simple & clean
Service is always good as well; staff is attentive enough
Food is pretty good all of the time, however prices just like everywhere have gone up!! Not an issue although like many, would like to get more bang for our buck (about $205 for 2 appetizers, 3 pizzas, 2 glasses wine & 1 beer and a salad plus 3 desserts)
Will always return when in Brownsville.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Liliana M.Roma, TX42627454Mar 26, 2023Updated review
This place never disappoints. We started with the Artichoke Dip. They asked if we wanted some time to enjoy our appetizer before our meal came out which was a nice touch.
Both Pizzas pictured were delicious along with the salad.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

This was hands down my favorite restaurant in Brownsville. This little pizza and wine oasis is located in the heart of downtown. Parking can be a little tricky as it's all street parking but we were able to find a spot a couple of blocks away.
Wood tables lined the windows of the restaurant. A casual but very clean and cozy vibe. A small bar with approximately 6 seats is nestled between the kitchen and the dining room. It's a lovely set up.
Once we were seated, our female server approached our table, introduced herself, and provided excellent service throughout the rest of our meal. She allowed each of us to try a couple of wines before ordering a full glass as we were undecided. I went with a tempranillo and my friend went with the California Cabernet. Both were yummy.
Then for food, we got the grilled Caesar salad to start. Wow. Simple but delicious. I was so impressed! It had the perfect amount of crunch and dressing. The grilled element seemed weird to me at first but it brought so much unique flavor to the dish. I loved it.
For our mains, I got the sweet sting pizza and my friend got the bravado. I definitely preferred the sweet sting. It was sweet from the honey, salty from the pepperoni, a little spicy from the crushed red pepper. My ideal pizza. We also ordered the cannoli for dessert but honestly wasn't too impressed with it so will likely skip that next time.
If you're in Brownsville and love pizza and/or wine (if you don't we can't be friends), please go here!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 1
