Long Beach Pupazzo Dog Grooming

They've been our groomers for years! We followed them from their old location to this one. We love them because they are very friendly and sweet with all of our dogs and they genuinely love dogs! I've been to some groomers and the workers seem scared or not too friendly.

This place is convenient as it is next to our vet. Xavier was able to fit my goldendoodle on short notice, fortunately.
I dropped him off and they said they would call us and it should be about 3 hours.
5 hours passed. I called to ask because it was passed closing time. We picked him up and he looked great and smelled great.
He started stinking within a week and a half. Nothing out of the ordinary. I think they ran out of time and just sprayed him well with cologne and brushed him a little and sent him on his merry way.
Very disappointed.
With Petco baths, he starts stinking around the 3rd week.

Love this place! The only groomers to take care of my boy since I have had him, over six years. I am very particular about his haircut, and the groomers always handle him with extra care. They even pick up and drop off for a few extra bucks. My groomer is Lucy but honestly, we have had a couple groomers over the years and they always do an amazing job. Meet my boy Ivan

***PREVIOUS REVIEW DELETED BY MANAGEMENT* ****DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! Worst groomers ever. They completely botched my dogs hair, shaved him RAW to where he is bleeding and CUT OFF ALL OF HIS EYELASHES! He was not matted in the area so there is no reason they should have shaved him, let alone shave him raw using the clippers without a guard. There is a major laceration on his little weewee and cuts inside his ears! Tried calling to get my money back, and they won't not take responsibility and tried blaming it on me! Horrible HORRIBLE human beings to have done this to an animal then blame it on the customer. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR BELOVED PET. Now I need to take him to the vet, to get a cone put on and antibiotics. Hopefully they didn't damage his hair growth in this area and his lashes grown back! ZERO STARS

My puppy means the world to me she is a very happy social poodle. The last thing I would want is for her to traumatized by her grooming. She loves getting pampered and she gets lots of love by everyone here. When we step in the shop she practically leaps into the arms of the staff no crying or dragging her her feet.

She is tiny and gets a continental cut I can only imagine her squirming around but her cut is perfect with no nicks or razor burns. She even gets her nails polished if you look close her nails are red with gold tips. They are absolutely adorable and the first thing people comment on. If her skin seems extra dry I get a call right away asking if her diet changed or if she is on any medication then a suggested oil treatment or deep conditioning. I even got a call that they had found a flea didn't think I had a problem but I might want to look around my house and sure enough my neighbor was having a flea problem with their dogs. I was able to nip a potential problem right away.

The shop is extremely clean and the staff is also clean, courteous and kind to my Gigi. You don't hear a bunch of crazy dogs or see them in over stacked cages. The front of the shop is all glass so you can see everything. Parking is also readily available right in front. The price is affordable. I have taken my puppy to very high end groomers that charged 3x as much and when I snuck in the back the conditions were horrible. I go back because my Gigi is happy there and she comes out looking exactly like I expect. I also do not have to leave her there all day because they have over booked. She is usually in and within a few hours.

I stand by taking my dogs here to get groomed.They never deliver less than great service and quality grooming. The groomers are very talented and friendly. The owner comes and picks up my dogs on a Saturday every few months from Artesia. They also have really great treats and pet supplies. I have tried their non-anesthesia teeth cleaning and it is worth it.

I used to take my dog here but the prices got to high .. and service got worse once they established near the traffic circle area

I recently moved to Long Beach and had not been able to find a good dog groomer, until today. My dog, Freckles looks and smells great! I am so happy with the service they provided also, they were professional and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure Freckles looked her best at the end of the bath. I will for sure be making this my new dog groomer. Thank you again!

Horrible. this is the third time I have had to take Foxy to the vet after a grooming. Her ears have been irritated each time. This was the worse. 1 day after the groomers both of her eyes are blood shot. The vet said it is due to over tightening of the leash. She had been a little withdrawnI am livid and wouldn't want any other pet lover's or their animal kids hurt. Stay away!!!!!!
