Luna’s Sugar High

It was a very cold windy night when we went on a Friday - definitely not ice cream weather but I have a ten year old obsessed with Sailor Moon, and we've been wanting to check this place out for months.

My daughter loved the whole idea of it - and chose the Luna. My husband got the S'mores and I the pink strawberry one. Such cute little ice cream scoops with all the toppings, nestled in a bubble waffle cone, Was definitely large enough for two people and was ten dollars.

The food truck is so cute! Bright purple, difficult to miss amongst the other food trucks.There are picnic tables to sit at, if the weather was nicer.

Service was great. We will return when warmer!

Or ice cream power in this case! What an amazing concept and even better experience of a dessert! At first, I wasn't sure if I was going to even enjoy all the toppings and bubble waffle cone because of how much of a sugar load it was. But I think it helped to share it with friends so I didn't have to feel the high lol.

We got the Chibiusa cone which had delicious marshmallow and strawberry to match the pink, fluffy hair of Chibiusa! It was perfection. It also comes with a wafer chocolate roll and we chose chocolate ice cream for it. You can choose between chocolate or vanilla.

For a reasonable price of $10, you get a generous scoop of ice cream and all the trimmings PLUS a freshly made waffle bubble. You can't beat it!
