This review is NSFW. As a human being this was an enchanting experience to say the least. I have 68 reviews around the southeast and I cannot state enough the whirlwind that this sent my body through.

Appetizers: Risotto balls were cheesy, light, and pumped full of tastiness that leaves your tongue tingling. Margahreta pizza was thin as a finger-nail with a delectable sauce and cheese blend. We also tried the chips and the cheese was a gastronomical Big O.

The mains: we went overboard. We ordered the Gnocchi (divine with fresh chicken). The chicken appeared to be coddled, loved, and fed with only the finest of heavenly ingredients and self sacrificed itself to have the honor of being plated on this dish.

I had the short rib that actually slipped off the bone. The bone fell out with no meat attached and each bite melted in your mouth before swallowing.

Our friends ordered the duck ragú and it was delicious.

Dessert: cheesecake. Crafted from God himself. Tiramisu was elite. Olive oil cake shames all the other girls for being dusty and dry as she's the top dog. The tart wasn't great.

The SERVICE: we were treated as first class royalty. Plates were replaced after every course. Immediately after someone de-crumbed our table. New silverware consistently. Never went a second without a full water glass. Multiple people working our table and managers consistently checking in.

Ambiance was beautiful and classy. The chef can be seen walking around and greeting guests. Staff seemed like they all genuinely wanted to be there.

This experience was a true gift. You must budget this into your next celebration. It's bar none to anything else in Nashville.

PACKED AND OVERPRICED. We arrived on a Saturday night and the restaurant was full. They sat us at a long banquette with a table for two and we had people on each side of us. We were sitting so close to other people we could see their meal and hear their conversation.

I ordered the bread appetizer and the seabass. See my photo of the bread appetizer. For the price, it was not much bread at all. I have received a whole loaf in other Italian restaurants or the bread was just complementary. So that was my first disappointment. For my main course I had the seabass. When I ordered it, I asked if I could change the side dish to a pasta. The server no, this is way it comes. Ok then. The dish arrived and the fish skin side down and when I flipped it over it was the thinnest piece of fish I have ever been served in a restaurant. When I scraped the fish off the skin with my fork, it amounted to 2 bites of fish. For approx. $40, I expected more. I had the gelato for dessert and it very nice so no complaints there. She had a pasta dish- the pappardelle with duck ragu. She liked it but didn't finish it.

I had the bread, the seabass, the gelato, and bottle of water and it was approx. $92. I mean come on now. We visited for the weekend and felt Nashville was overpriced as a whole- from the hotel room, to the breakfast place we stopped at, and now this restaurant for dinner. It was par for the course. If you do decide to try it, bring money and expect very little.

This is fine dining in Nashville. 4 of us ate here and everything was exceptionally prepared. Delicious! The price is what you would expect for such high quality food. This ain't Taco Bell!

I had the clams & spaghetti in a white wine sauce. It was delicious and I loved every bit of it. Others had salmon, short ribs, chitarra with meat balls. And their reaction was the same as mine.

The desserts are exceptional too. Wow!

As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'

This place was really good! I enjoyed their pasta options. The duck pasta was really good. I got the bolognese and I thought it was ok. Very heavy on the olive oil to the point where I thought it took away from the flavor-fulness of the sauce. But my only complaint for that pasta was the olive oil quantity. The desserts, especially the doughnuts, were really good. Good drink selection although pricy. The service was ok? It was a bit slow. I felt like the place was a bit over-hyped (all my friends have been raving about it) but overall it was good food. The tables are spaced well so you don't feel packed in and there is room for bigger groups. No free parking, but they offer valet for $15.

What an amazingly delicious way to kick off a weekend with friends in Nashville. A first timer here at Luogo's and there's so much to rave about.

Let's start off with the decor and service. A modern motiff with a touch of old world Italian flare, nice lighting and a very upbeat vibe. Impeccable service - very knowledgeable on the menu, history of the business and a commitment to giving a high end experience.

So, getting to the meat of the review (lol) I give you 3 top choices.

Spaghetti with Manilla Clams - perfect texture with amazing flavor and sauce.
Chianti Braised Beef Rib - So melt in your mouth tender. No need for a knife.
Chicken Marsala - A gorgeous presentation with tender chicken and great flavor.

And my review wouldn't be complete without mentioning the cocktails and dessert. My gin martini was fantastic with the cranberry reduction and Pechaudes Bitters. And the Salted Caramel Hot Buttered Rum was ordered quite a few times lol. And I tell you here and now, your meal won't be complete unless you order the Bomboloni (hand made sugar coated, vanilla cream filled donuts) with a sinfully delicious chocolate dipping sauce.

A very impressive and outstanding experience of delicious food, great ambience and top notch service.

Tourists keep this place alive. It's a shame this is the #1 Italian spot in Nashville. Don't waste your money.

Luogo was our first dinner spot during our recent trip to Nashville, which kicked off the trip on a high note. About halfway through our meal, we discussed the last time we had such delicious Italian food. Before landing on Luogo as our dinner spot, we decided between here and Pelato (owned by the same company). Later in our trip, we went to Pelato, but starting with Luogo was an excellent decision. For a party of two, I found it a nice semi-upscale spot to get a great dinner.

Besides the food, a very noticeable positive of Luogo is the service. During our visit, we were constantly being attended to, and everyone from the second you step foot inside the restaurant is more than friendly. At no point did our wine need to be refilled, water refilled, or did an empty plate stay on the table for too long. You can tell that quality service is a big emphasis for their business, and everyone works together.

Getting to the food now. We split a Grilled Caesar salad, a bottle of wine, and then two pasta dishes. From the pictures on Yelp, I was set on getting the Chitarra with Beef Meatballs. The tomato sauce is hearty but also not overpowering. The meatballs are so juicy, and each bit is a good one.

Luogo is a MUST. I'm so happy they made their way here in the gulch. Ive been here a handful of times and I love Italian food so much! The fritto misto is a favorite of mine. It's so light, and there's a variety of veggies and seafood in the mix. I feel less guilty eating it! Also, the meatballs were unbelievable. I highly recommend both of them. The pizza is so good and thin! I was impressed, and some of my Italian friends agreed this one lands high on their list as well.

The rigatoni bolognese was packed with flavor and the lobster bucatini was light and flavorful as well. You can tell everything is made with fresh ingredients and the pasta was cooked al dente. I dream of Luogo everytime a friend comes to visit me because it's that good!

There's always room for desserts. The banana pudding with chocolate chips added a nice texture, the bomboloni was nicely coated with sugar, tiramisu was light, and the Italian lemon olive oil cake had a perfect tang.

Overall, service is always great here and I love the food. No complaints! 5 stars all around.

Have you not been outside the Country/state/nearing county? If the answer is Yes. Then this ll knock your socks off. Like ambiance, service, food.

Now if you have been to a decent city/country, with actual good food, then the experience is average.

Appetizers were ok, salty a bit! Pasta was good, and other main dishes we tried, good not over the top good. Like it was just another restaurant experience nothing special.

      Staff is nice and attentive.

Would i be back probably not, again nothing special! Just another restaurant.

Came to Nashville on a girl's trip and this was our first stop. The Pizza appetizer was 15/10 INCREDIBLE!! So thin and crispy with tons of flavor. A crowd favorite. Honestly wish we had gotten 2 of them.

The cocktails were alright - nothing to write home about. Very liquor forward for everyone at the table. We all ordered one on the menu.

The best pasta dish by FAR was the bolognese pasta. There's a reason it's highly recommended.

I personally ordered the linguine clam pasta dish and was slightly disappointed with the flavor. Lacking seasoning and flavor.

The service was great and atmosphere of the restaurant was nice.

I'll definitely go back next time I'm in town.
