Ozio had been on my list of must-visit places in DC for some time due to its fantastic vibe. From the lively music and DJs to the vibrant rooftop and three levels of experiences, it promised a great night out and amazing day parties.
However, I've encountered an issue recently--Ozio seems to be closed during its listed hours of operation on multiple occasions. In fact, I haven't seen it open for a while now, and I'm left wondering about its current status. I sincerely hope that this establishment can regain its former glory and restore itself to the exciting hotspot it once was.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 588159283Mar 17, 2024
Ozio Restaurant and Lounge is an absolute gem in the heart of the city! If you're looking for a place that combines top-notch entertainment, fantastic hookah, and an incredible atmosphere, look no further.
This lounge is a hotspot for events, with some of the best DJs in town gracing the stage regularly. Whether you're into hip-hop, electronic, or anything in between, Ozio delivers an unforgettable experience. The hookah selection is solid, offering a range of flavors to satisfy any palate.
What sets Ozio apart is its unique layout - with three levels to explore, each offering its own vibe. And let's not forget the cherry on top - the top-level roof that opens up, providing breathtaking views and an open-air experience like no other.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Samantha L.Gaithersburg, MD3489321827915Mar 12, 2023
My friends and I were getting hungry so we stopped at Ozio Restaurant & Lounge, a multi-level Mediterranean restaurant with a cigar bar, where you smoke cigars/cigarettes and do hookah. Since they had an event, they had a limited food menu that included fries, loaded fries, burger, and fried calamari. The bartenders were chill! With our wristbands, we got $4 shamrock shots and $5 mixed drinks. In addition to these drink specials, we shared an order of loaded fries, which consisted of crispy fries topped with bacon bits, melted cheese, scallions, and sour cream. It was quite tasty but I couldn't believe it was $16...

Came here for brunch on the rooftop.
The rooftop had a ceiling and the space is ok. It's set up like a day club, but with brunch items included. It's a far walk up to the rooftop, so be prepared. I'm surprised they don't have an elevator.
Their brunch included unlimited food and (weak) bottomless mimosa for $60. You have to pay for any other drinks separately. The brunch menu included salmon, potatoes, sausage, bacon, shrimp and grits, wings, mac and cheese, waffles, french toast, and a few other things. The food was pretty good.
They only had one person working the buffet, and they were serving each person. The lids were kept on the food (I assume because of Covid). They needed to have a couple other people working the buffet as it took a while to get your food.
They also give you a two hour time limit. They had a DJ.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 124216065988Dec 20, 2021
Hadn't been here in years until last week! One of my favorite social groups hosted a holiday get together on the rooftop. Just as I remembered, parking around here is scarce. Luckily for me, someone was leaving and I was able to get a close by spot.
The place definitely looked updated from what I remembered. I never liked coming here because of the cigar smoking. I think only the second floor is designated for cigars and maybe that was always the case but I remembered that it didn't matter which floor, the minute you step foot in here you were leaving here smelling smokey!
The drinks here are way too pricey and in a small plastic cup at that!! Absolutely not worth it. I paid $43 for two drinks! I'm not exaggerating! They include an automatic 20% gratuity. Yikes!! This was a huge turn off! I probably won't be back! Sorry!!Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mamoon W.Manassas, VA366742Oct 4, 2023
Nice food, good service and great ambience. This place get crowded on weekends or on special holidays. So call for reservations ahead of time on special days. Located in the vibrant part of the town, which has good vibes and positive energy in the surrounding area.

I mean, if you're looking for a decent day party that has good music and sub-par drinks, Ozio is the place for you. It cost $20 to get in on a Saturday afternoon and when you go in, you have to go up a flight of stairs to make it to the "party-area". The atmosphere was super bleh. They had the AC on full blast which was so uncomfortable and the drinks were too sweet. One bouncer in particular kept harassing me to "move out the way" of the bottle girls when in actuality, I wasn't in their way and there were so many others standing along that same path.
Only bright spot is that the first DJ they had was really good. Also, y'all can't dress to save y'all lives in the DMV.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 1 - Ron R.Centreville, VA05Apr 16, 2023
We had friends coming in for the weekend so did our research and picked here for our 5pm dinner reservation before the show we were seeing. Walked to the restaurant from the hotel arrived at 4:50 and the place was locked and no one was answering their phone. Stood outside trying to get hold of someone to see what was up and a gentleman showed up who was dropping off equipment for a show later, he said he had a contact number. No one ever showed up. So we had to frantically call around every where we could find to try to find seating for 7 on a Friday night.... Can't review the venue but just know we will never take a chance here again. Not sure why you would take reservations when you weren't even going to be open. Nothing was posted about being closed for an event and nothing on their website.

The way they handled patrons prior to entering should have been an indication that everything would continue to go down hill. We arrived at 1pm with a reservation and were not seated until around 1:45. You pay a flat fee at the door for a three course brunch and bottomless mimosas ($54). After our party, there was a long line of others with a 1pm reservation and they said they would not be able to accommodate them. So many red flags just standing in line.
The mimosas are juice with a splash of champagne. The three course menu makes no sense and the food comes out randomly and in no particular order, so you're not even eating a cohesive meal. We didn't start getting food until around 2:30/2:40 - at that point we had been sitting for about an hour, drinking juice.
The omelette was an egg (from the carton) overcooks with the toppings stuffed inside (not cooked with the egg like normal). The shrimp and grits came in a very small bowl (it was honestly an appetizer bowl), the wings gave very much Tysons chicken covered with whatever flavors they have. Even the fries were nasty.
Don't ever go here.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
