Panarello

per me Panarello vuol dire solo una cosa: CANNONCINI!
No, non sono mai riuscito ad assaggiare altro, non sono mai riuscito a prendere qualcosa che non siano quei cannoncini superlativi.
Si, sogno spesso quella piccola goduria ripiena di crema pasticciera, quella sfoglia croccante e delicata, che si scioglie pian piano nella tua bocca e ti coccola...
E' goduria pura, è uno di quei piaceri che NON PUOI NON PROVARE e RIPROVARE.
E ieri, nonostante il mio stomaco non fosse al massimo della sua forma e nonostante la mia dieta fatta di fette biscottate con miele, non ho saputo resistere...
Sono passato qui davanti e come un bimbo con gli occhi a cuoricino, ammiravo quei succulenti cannoli dalla vetrina.
Si, lo so, avrei dovuto resistere... ma ve lo assicuro, quei cannoncini PARLAVANO, dicevano "COMPRAMI COMPRAMI, MANGIAMI MANGIAMI" come solo i cibi più porci e goduriosi sanno fare.
E io, che cosa potevo fare?
Si, lo ammetto: non ho resistito. Fuck the diet, fuck the world: potrei morire ora, attraversando la strada... e allora, perchè NON GODERMI ALMENO UN ULTIMO CANNONCINO?
La ragazza al bancone capisce subito la mia voglia e mi serve quella dolce prelibatezza in un delizioso sacchettino trasparente: devo dire che è simpatica, scherzosa, come una buona venditrice deve essere, riuscendo anche a scambiare quattro chiacchiere nonostante la folta presenza nel locale di avventori arrapati di cotanta bontà...
Forse alla giovane gli possiamo rimproverare un pavimento non proprio pulitissimo (è pieno zeppo di briciole e tovaglioli abbandonati dagli altri avventori).
Ma alla fine tutto passa in secondo piano, perchè dimentichi tutto quando hai tra le mani quel pacchetto contenente quel piccolo tesoro.
Forse un pò costoso (1,50 euro cad) ma, diciamolo chiaramente: cosa volete che sia per un minuto di pura estasi?
Io lo ammetto: appena uscito non ho resistito, non ho aspettato di arrivare a casa e ho addentato subito il mio corpo del reato.
Se solo mia mamma sapesse...
O Panarello Panarello, perchè i tuoi cannoncini sono così dannatamente buoni?

Looking for a sweet treat to tide us over to dinner & Panarello was the closest... and lucky for us

Tiramisu and pistachio cream brioche were our choices. The brioche was tender and the cream was just a compliment but not the feature.

The tiramisu was wrapped in a chocolate hazelnut shell and filled with cream

Usual Panarello amazingness, forgot to take pictures though, sorry! Got a cannoncino alla crema, which is a staple at Panarello, and a chocolate tart. Both absolutely delicious, we enjoyed them very much. Coffee was very good too. Highly recommended!

This establishment has so much history in making dolce "sweets" in Milano.
The had some gift packages easy to get for gifts.
I bought some yummy cookies with apricot jam to enjoy with some tea.
Another nearby store has the fried crispy pastry with powdered sugar or chocolate in it. This pastry is addicting.

MUCH friendlier staff than Princi next door! Ordered:
- Caffe latte = good! Even came with a side of milk, which never happened any where else, so that was a pleasant surprise, even though the extra milk wasn't needed.
- Beignet = good! Not your typical U.S. beignet - It was more like a cream horn with a Boston cream donut filling - Sweeter than most Italian pastries, but still quite tasty!
- Some sort of marmalade filled giant croissant-like pastry = Super yummy!

Highly recommended for those looking for a coffee and pastry-only cafe!

Tough call between this and Princi next door. I went with Panarello for being less crowded. My favorite was the mini tarts with various fillings. Great morning snack, and on the green line to get you back to sight seeing quickly.

My family and I loved this place. We were recommended this place by our AirBnB host and I can honestly say we loved it. The Cannoncino and coffee were so delicious. The atmosphere was so friendly, especially since we had our luggages with us. Definitely worth coming!
