It was a few years ago that I went here so I unfortunately don't have any pictures to upload.
I remember going in here on a whim not expecting much, at all. I was pleasantly surprised and proven wrong. The staff had all Italian accents so that kind of built up the biased expectations :)
We both ordered two different kinds of pastas and they were both absolutely delicious. I remember the flavors just popping in my mouth. We could tell the ingredients were fresh. The prices weren't too bad either.
We left feeling light and satisfied.
I definitely recommend you try out this place.
It's less than 10 minutes away from Trafalgar Square on foot.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Qype User (andeec…)London, United Kingdom654138Jul 27, 2008
Well located in the heart of West End, just a few steps away from the London theatre and opera scene, this family-owned Italian restaurant intrigues even by its name. Indulge youself with the best of trattoria cooking -simple, generous, full-flavoured style of food inspired by the small family restaurants of Italy. The menu offers amazing starters of Italian but also French origins, pasta dishes, sea food, grills, soups, fine desserts, extensive wine-list, and extraordinary coffee. Vitality, passion, intimacy That's what this place is about. The decor is very homely. Staff is attentive. Prices are not exaggerated. And I had the best tasting olives here ever!

From the out side this place does not look much, but once your inside you will be surprised. There is a good atmosphere and the staff are friendly and efficient even when very busy. The food was very good and there is a good selection of wines good (we had the house white and it was very good). If you go here I would recommend that you ask if you can be seated downstairs as the top level can get a bit crowded.
Very nice restaurant.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (jquint…)London, United Kingdom35Aug 14, 2008
I was just at this place today. The food was alright, good flavor but small portions. The prices are about the mid-range. The decor and music made a good atmosphere. The wine choice is the best thing about this place. I'm quite disappointed with this place.
It's a alright place to have dinner, the location is nice. The location gives the atmosphere a boost. A good place to eat if you are around covent garden, but don't expect too much.
I was really hoping this place was good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin J.Henley-on-Thames, United Kingdom538635Apr 16, 2011First to Review
Absolutely love it! Old school meets old school with charming service and real home cooked food.
Close your eyes and you could be in a back street of Rome.
We sat outside and watched the world go by as we tucked into some of the most delicious pasta that I have ever eaten.
Prices are very reasonable and I thoroughly recommend a vist.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
