I love the selection of fresh sushi here. The seaweed salad is reasonable priced. I've tried the chirashi, the spicy tiny rolls and the sashimi. This is a take-out kiosk. Service is efficient and there is someone outside of the kiosk that assist customers. You can't beat the ambience of the Grand Central Marketplace. It's a gorgeous building with all sorts of beautiful things, products and food. My favorite items are the brown rice rolls.

Stop using grub hub there not reliable. I placed an order delivery time 3:05-3:15 never arrived. Called restaurant 4:30pm, Restsurant never called back. I called again 6pm no interest.

I contacted Grub after all the tedious explanations they credit my cc $41, offered a $15 credit on my next order. I ordered and got no discount!

Got their Chirashi bowl with salmon, tuna and eel. The add-one's include edamame, avocado, and Tamagoyaki.
The fish was fresh and the rice was well seasoned and had great texture.

yet another follow up on my terrible experience with Jerry at Pescatore! I just checked my credit card to make sure my canceled order was credited to my credit card by Pescatore it was not credited I called and was promised a call back from Jerry of which I still haven't heard back . Yet more customer service no surprise!
Reported to bank and they can handle it! Not worth my time and aggravation ! Better fish in the sea!

Cindy I didn't say I Love your fish I said it was good there is a difference between love and good.... I have not seen the refund reflected on my Credit Card it's almost a week... I called today and was told Jerry would call me right back... 12 hrs still no call back about refund.. It was not the delivery service that made the mistake time after time I called the store directly because of the lack of service from delivery service... Nobody can get it right.. The fish was delicious from Fresh Direct and got here on time as promised. One more point and then I'm done with you all. I am not slamming you I am simply writing the facts. Happy fishing..

Our 8-10 oz lobster tail was perfection -- sweet. Fresh. $35 but -- that seems reasonable for lobster in NYC. And would have cost me like $100 at a restaurant.

I made the mistake of passing by Pescatore Seafood time and time again over the past few years...always telling myself "Next time..." I convinced myself that the prices were likely too high for the quantity of seafood in the prepared items which caught my eye...and so I'd save it for a treat.

After finally diving in, I have thrown that thinking out the window and will not only make a point of getting to GCT ahead of my future train departure times so I can snag a quick, fresh, light meal...but will make a point to bring a refrigerated bag next time I'm running errands in the area so I can bring some of this goodness home.

I've always noticed that PS is kept very clean by a very well put together and seemingly polite staff. All points were true to perception. Both of the staff members I worked with (the young woman who took/fulfilled my order and the cashier) were professional and welcoming. The young woman I worked with was really great at answering my questions and making recommendations, and the cashier was very friendly.

      I tried:

Lobster Roll (Connecticut Style): It looks small for $18. But they have those quaint (and delicious!) brioche rolls PACKED from the bottom right through to the overflowing top. I was impressed by this since I've had smaller and paid more at other NYC lobster roll joints (don't tell me you haven't paid that much or more for a skimpy, flavorless lobster roll and a couple of stale kettle-cooked chips elsewhere...). This roll certainly exceeding expectations. For not coming straight from the kitchen (read: MTO) the cook on the lobster was acceptable, and they certainly nailed the Connecticut Style. I plan to make my way through all other stylings.

Spicy Shrimp Taco: Awesome, light, crunchy, mixed-texture treat! It may look like they're skimping on the shrimp. But I guarantee you they are not, especially for the price! The shrimp are cooked (and cleaned) perfectly and the flavors are simply great. My only qualm is that they take a very light approach to "spicy" (and that's with the young woman being nice enough to give me a small side of extra mayo). I still plan to order again.

Summer Roll (Thai Peanut): Solid. And SUPER packed with shrimp! A steal at $7. I wish they were more heavy handed with the Thai peanut sauce and those spice flavorings. But glad I tried it.

Summer Roll (Curry Shrimp): LOVED this one! Think Singapore Mei Fun in creamy salad form (this is a good...no...great thing). Less shrimp in this one, but so much flavor! Texturally you get creamy, some crunch, some pull from the rice wrapper.....just SO good.

All said and done, I purchased four seafood items with what seemed like (close to) half a pound of lobster meat (including claw) and (combined) at least half a pound of shrimp for only $35! Plus everything was fresh and fell somewhere on the good to delicious spectrum? Yes, please!

Pescatore Seafood has a new fan, and I so hope you'll give them a try.

I love this little gem at the Grand Central Market. Last week I discovered it and bought a lobster tail, a juicy piece of swordfish and some shrimp scampi and enjoyed every morsel. I would have given a 5 star review last week. Today I went back for the gluten free salmon meat balls and lobster salad at $44/pound. Ouch. I spent $11.75 on the tiny tails and too much mayo with crunchy pieces that I'm pretty SURE were something foreign. I should have gone back to return it but I was already back at my hotel before trying it. Positive points..excellent service and 5% back on Yelp!
Don't get the salmon meatballs. Weird flavor and way too spicy

Found them for home delivery during COVID. So glad we did! We've ordered through their website, allfreshseafood.com.

Everything arrives quickly, properly packaged and protected with appropriate ice and insulation. We've ordered from them at least four times - each time is better than the last. As a matter of fact, I'm getting ready to place another order shortly. They offer a great assortment of items, both raw and prepared. Highly recommend!

The Grand Central Market at Grand Central Station is just wonderful! So much great food! Pescatore has a really large selection at the Grand Central Market. They have all sorts of fresh seafood. It doesn't smell, which probably means that the seafood is really fresh. They also have some great prepared foods, like lobster salad, crab cakes, all sorts of salads, poached salmon, lobster rolls, even vegetarian items. The lobster puffs (puffed pastry with lobster) looked so good and the same with the crab cakes, but they don't have an oven or microwave to heat food, so I got the lobster salad, which was had mayonnaise and good chunks of mostly claw meat. I also had the salmon roll, which was a good deal. The roll was salmon and a few vegetables inside a rice paper roll. It was meant to be eaten cold. They give you forks and tissues. Excellent

Pescatore Seafood has two stalls - a seafood stand at the end and a sushi bar closer to the middle of the market.

The main seafood stand sells raw fish, seafood salads, and summer rolls for the lunch crowd. While I haven't ordered the raw seafood, I am a fan of the summer rolls. The rolls take the seafood salads and add lettuce or cabbage to a rice noodle to make a mini burrito like roll (or summer roll if you've had Vietnamese food). The summer rolls come in a variety of flavors, like lobster ($5), shrimp or crab salad ($3.50), salmon (chipotle or lemon). The salads are a bit heavy on mayo/other condiments to fill out the seafood, but the lightness of the rice noodle and greens evens out the texture. Two make a good snack, three would be a meal. While you can argue that the seafood salads are Pescatore's way to get rid of scraps, they are super tasty, affordable, and fresh tasting.

The sushi case was full of very tasty options with good portions of fresh fish. From chirashi bowls to rolls, sashimi and sushi plates, white/brown/black rice, there should be enough choices to get someone excited. I picked up a chirashi bowl for $14 which had salmon, tuna, yellow tail, avocado, and egg in them. Everything is clearly labeled if you are particular. The fish was fresh and the bowl was a good portion. If you're a big eater, a bowl plus a roll will make you full, or consider picking up a summer roll from the main Pescatore stall. Considering its Grand Central Market, the price is definitely worth it and is a worthwhile splurge lunch. The staff are nice, but your interaction is so fast and minimal it doesn't even matter. Line was short at 12:15 pm on a Tuesday. Take the bowl to eat downstairs in the food court or back to your desk. I can't wait to go back!
