3.5 stars for the food, 4 stars for service overall.
Service was attentive from the bar all the way to the dinner table. And each time the server had to come by to check on us, he was super polite and excused himself before speaking, that was very thoughtful.
When it came time for drink refills and dessert, he was quick to deliver the items as ordered. Overall dinner was good. A few things more memorable than others.
Appetizer I tried was the mozzarella en carozza, which is part of the prix fixe menu. This appetizer was enjoyable. My entree of choice was veal parmigiana. And dessert I chose ice cream. Simple. Notes: great pricing but skip the veal. It was pounded way thin but dry. And the veal was under seasoned.
My companions ordered:
House salad, mix of arugula and balsamic dressing.
Lobster Ravioli - nice plate of sauce. Average portion.
Spaghetti with mini meatballs - trio combo of chicken, pork and beef. I preferred the beef but I can see the appeal of the others. The star of this dish for me was the spaghetti and the sauce. Meatballs were good since you get a variety, I've never seen this before at any other place. So points for that.
The cocktails and drinks from the bar were on point. A fun night out overall as it was not very crowded and you can tell, the folks dining there were regulars.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Jul 27, 2023
For how delicious this place was, I'm surprised I haven't come here sooner! It is a nice Italian style restaurant both in cuisine and atmosphere. There is Italian music played while you enjoy your meal. They had a number of different cocktails as well as soft drinks. The wait staff was very kind and we appreciated the complimentary bruschetta that was brought out to the table before we ordered. We had a number of different dishes from two different shrimp ones, a grilled chicken salad, and my penne arrabiata with sausage. One of the best I've ever had! I would definitely go back.

The only reason I gave two stars because of the friendly staff. I had food poison after I dined at this restaurant and unfortunately experienced symptoms of food poisoning shortly thereafter. Not sure I would ever go again.

I made a last minute Confirmation get together for my son. I called the restaurant and spoke with Florio. He was very accommodating and nice. I was nervous because we had never eaten there. I had a party of 20 people. EVERYONE raved about the delicious food and attentiveness. There was not one thing that was mediocre! We will definitely be back.

This place is located right by my wife's job and her boss recommended it ages ago. The ambiance is very old school Italian which we love. There aren't many places left like this. The waiters are all kind and really social which I enjoy. I like feeling like I'm family when I walk into a restaurant and this is exactly how I feel when I dine here.
They have many options and the menu is very extensive. From appetizers to entrees you will never leave hungry. My favorite is the veal chop Milanese. It's huge!! I also enjoy getting the fish because it's always cooked just right. Don't forget about dessert. Look at how good the options look! Taste just as good as they look!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - King C.New York, NY01Mar 17, 2024Updated review
Forgot to mention. Adding insult to injury - my wife got food poisoning from the Branzino. Epic fail for this establishment.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 15, 2024Previous reviewI think this place is honestly a joke. Came here for Valentine's Day and ordered one of the specials, Branzino, along with Seafood Linguine. Branzino fillets tasted like it was frozen and came with a tiny portion of veggies (3/4 of a small soup bowl). Seafood Linguine was cooked with what also tasted like frozen lobster tails (smallest lobster tails I've ever had served at a restaurant). Classic Italian marinara sauces are never cooked with butter which this place does it with or at least tasted like it. Theirs was very off too. Don't know if it was because of the sweetness of the sauce like they added sugar or some kind of sweetener. Prices are seriously ridiculous for the portion sizes. Literally went home to order from my local spot for something comforting and filling. Not even worth a second chance.

We came here with Mommy for lunch. It was a nice quiet Italian restaurant serving some good selections of Italian dishes. Emilio greeted us, and Fabio served us. The service was excellent! Some of the food were excellent too. We had bruschetta on the house. Then we ordered an appetizer stuffed with calamari. Their tomato sauce was delicious, but they only used two small calamari. There were a few mussels in it too. The minestrone was perfect. For the entree, I had capellini garlic and oil with shrimp. Again, the shrimp was small. I thought they used slightly bigger shrimp here. Hubby had Chicken Scarpiella. This was a nice one. I tried it. Mommy had blackened salmon. The salmon was well prepared and tasty but was on the smaller side. I don't mind trying other dishes next time. I'm sure the protein portion has been reduced due to inflation. It's a nice restaurant with big selections. There's plenty to choose from. We had a great lunch. Thanks!
