Does it get loud?
A:
Hello, thanks for reaching out! On our busiest nights, especially in the dining room it can get moderately loud. The patio and garden areas are always comfortably quiet. If you’re looking for a quiet dinner inside, try booking before 6pm on a… more

What a great night out and with FANTASTIC food! We made a reservation for 7:30 on a Friday night and this place was poppin! Love the lively atmosphere and huge outdoor dining area. The entire dining area is very spacious but all of the tables were full, which is always a nice sign when going to a new place.
We were sat pretty immediately and ordered some drinks and the Rossoblu bread basket to start. OMG THE ANCHOVY BUTTER. Soooo good! The bread was also soo delicious I loved the crunchy and slightly salty crust, while the bread inside was soft.
Ordering here it's a good idea to get a bunch of dishes to share with your group. We ordered the mixed baby lettuces and herbs salad, funghi pizza, braised pork meatballs, Olimpia's tagliatelle, and risotto for our meal. Loved the sauce with the meatballs and the ragu on the tagliatelle. MAN was it good! Not a single dish disappointed.
For dessert we ordered the tiramisu, lemon sorbetto and the cheesecake. Tiramisu was maybe the best I've ever had but because it was heavy on the chocolate mousse. LOVE the lemon sorbetto. So refreshing and the consistency wasn't too icy, it was packed with flavor! I would skip on the cheesecake next time. It was a different take on your typical cheesecake which we didn't realize so we weren't that into it.
The cocktails here looked incredible. I can't wait to come back when I can have a glass of wine with dinner! Overall we had a great time and I would definitely recommend trying this place out.Helpful 20Thanks 0Love this 17Oh no 0 - Constance C.Los Angeles, CA77971986May 9, 2023Seated via Yelp Reservations
Service was exceptional!!!! Super attentive staff and friendly!
We celebrated my friend's bday here and everything was delicious !
Great food and ambiance!
It's tucked away in an unassuming location on San Julian St. in DTLA.
Chic decor with a huge mural. I felt I was transported back in Europe.
Lots of metered street parking and no charge after 6 PM.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Edward M.Long Beach, CA433548Feb 22, 2024

The overall ambiance is very pleasant. The decor to the plates, loved it all. I actually really loved the plates desserts were served on so bonus points.
Appetizers
Eggplant - 3 stars. Dish is served cold with eggplants rolled up, topped with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese.
Cesar Salad - 3.5 stars. Cesar salad is level upped with a variety of lettuces including purple lettuce. I enjoyed the pops of bitterness from the purple lettuce. I just wished it was more finely chopped.
Mains
Mushroom Pasta - 5 stars. Delectable. The noodles are super wide and covered in this thick butteru sauce, so good.
Trout - 3.5 stars. The trout itself was great and would have been a solid 4 stars but it was placed on a bed of hummus(?)..not sure, but it was super salty and just a strange.
Dessert
Tiramisu - 3 stars. It was fine.
Pistachio cake - 5+ stars. This was SO good. Light, airy, and decadent all in one. I definitely recommend.
Overall, I'd definitely come back.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Lovely experience here!
Met up with some friends for a Galentine's day dinner. The hostess and the server saw all our Galentine's day gifts and decor and were all so friendly and accommodating! They brought us a little side table to place the gifts on as well as gave everyone a little sparkling rosé taster. It's the little things, ya know?
We ordered a ton of food and shared it all so we got to try a lot of different dishes.
Focaccia
Citrus salad
Eggplant
Bolognese pasta
Mushroom pasta
Diavola pizza
Brussel sprouts
After all that we somehow managed to try the olive oil cake, tiramisu and the panna cotta.
My favorites were the pizza and the pastas obviously. I normally find mushroom pasta too rich but this one was really great! I would definitely order it again.
More than the food, the restaurant really had good service. Aside from the rosé tasters, they also sent over a complimentary ice cream with our desserts.
Overall I found it to be a great place to celebrate a special occasion or a great date night spot. Decor and ambiance were great for celebrating.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

I'd heard great things about Rossoblu from multiple friends, so I was very excited to finally try it this weekend. I think it was ... fine? The restaurant itself is super cool, love the design of it.
The food is decent. My friend and I got the brussel sprout salad, which was really tasty. The focaccia was okay, sort of a deconstructed take on it that you put together yourself -- not bad, not amazing, just fine. We got the trout, which again was fine. The tagliatelle was the standout for me, very rich and flavorful with perfectly cooked noodles. Our bill was about $200 with tip, which included 3 cocktails, 2 appetizers, 2 main courses and dessert, so pretty standard for a nice night out in LA.
I didn't LOVE where my friend and I were seated, since 20 minutes in a family with a toddler was seated on a banquette right next to us and the kid kept crawling over his seat and basically sitting in my lap. The parents didn't care -- the guy said "He's just a kid" and went back to eating his food. Not the fault of the restaurant, but not an amazing experience when I'm spending $30+ on a plate of bolognese.
Overall, I'm glad I finally tried it, but didn't love it enough to go back. I think there are much better Italian places in LA!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Hey. J.P here. Came here few hours ago and wow it was a extremely poor visit. Except for the waiters they are all very kind and attentive so thanks, but I'm here for food not the service. But anyways the food portions are so incredibly small. Three bites and it's gone and it doesn't even taste good; very horrible actually. The picture is the portion size of the tortellini de crema and guess how much it was. 30$ lol!! But not lol at all. My party ordered 5 dishes and left hungry to get Raising canes after. I really don't get the hype abt this place at all. Bye

Ok I'm just going to get right to it... their salami and honey pizza was the best pizza I've had in LA. I was a little worried about honey on a pizza but I took one bite and I honestly don't know why this is not a thing. Or maybe it is a thing and I'm just not in the know. Either way, try it!!
We also ordered the beef and pork tagliatelle and the pasta was cooked perfectly.
The vibe inside is trendy but not loud or obnoxious. The food came out really fast and the staff is amazing. We were celebrating an anniversary and they gave us some wine and a desert on the house. It was very sweet.
I can definitely see why it is Michelin rated.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
