About the Business
Established in 2007. The Shirk family opened Shirky's Pizza Zone on July 9, 2007. They purchased the pizza shop March 30 of that year and renovated the entire building. Throughout the years the building was formerly known as The Crossing, The Pizza Crossing, and The Pizza Cottage. Twin brothers Kerry and Terry have named the shop Shirky's after a nickname they picked up as kids. Together the brothers and their supporting wives have five children, 3 grand-children. Every member of the family has dedicated time and effort into making Shirky's Pizza Zone the best it can be (and the tastiest). The twins pride themselves in making this a place where you feel like family. This is a place where the owners care about you and the time you spend at Shirky's. From your order being exactly how you like it, to a relaxed, family-fun and sports-loving atmosphere... Stop in and see us!

Take out Italian subs were just okay. Flavor okay. Couldn't really notice Italian dressing. All ingredients but bun was pretty skimpy. Was really looking forward to these too as they had good reviews. Did we just get them on an off evening?

Always great food a great service. We love Shirkys. If you are in the Carroll area I recommend you stop in and get yourself some good food.

Hubby and I stopped in here last night with some friends for dinner. Never knew about this place until our friends invited us to join them for dinner at the last minute. We all ordered pizzas and appetizers. One of the owners came around to check on us including our waitress that was very tentative to our table. Everyone's pizzas looked delicious! Great atmosphere too!
